Auto clean system:
As an optional extra your chute can also have an auto clean system incorporated. Controlled by a microprocessor, all the hopper doors are locked off at a specified times each day or as a manual over-ride procedure. The sprinklers are engaged and a brush then descends from the top of the chute and proceeds to clean the chute internally for a period of 10 to15 mins. The brush then ascends to its housing position within the top section of the chute and the sprinklers engage for one final rinse sanitize, then the doors are unlocked and ready for use.

Manual clean system
: A similar system to the Auto clean this is operated from the compactor room. Fitted to the wall of the compactor room are a winch and a valve. The operator will turn on the valve to activate the internal sprinklers. The winch is attached via wire cable to a brush housed in the top section of the chute, by winding the winch the chute is internally cleaned and sanitized. An operation instruction legend will be fitted to the compactor room wall for the operators use.

Recycling Chutes
: Our latest chute development for high-rise residential buildings is our Recycling Chutes. Residents will be required to sort out their rubbish into paper, glass and metals, or general waste. The hopper door on the chute will be normally locked, located near the hopper door is a series of 3 buttons labelled "Glass and Metals", "Paper" and "General Waste". The resident will push the appropriate button which will tell the microprocessor what type of rubbish is coming down and will unlock the hopper door. The chute will then discharge the waste into the appropriate container in the bin room. This system can also be used in conjunction with any of our compactor systems and can also be modified to separate all 5 types of recycling materials. Please contact our technical enquires team.
